If your "community or cultural group" is linked to the Orange Order in Portadown or if a Portadown lodge wishes to affiliate, they are welcome to send a letter to Mr George Laverty, Secretary. His address can be gained from the office. The letter must be on official lodge or community group headed paper and detail the aims of the group or lodge, the office bearers and contact details. Details have also been posted in this months Portadown Loyalist Magazine on how to affiliate. Note: affiliation allows the group to access the Community Development Worker, who will assist with development needs. Affiliated groups are posted on an email listing for communication purposes, offered specific tailor made training, invited to site visits and residentials and offered educational and capacity building programmes.

The Community Association currently have 20 organisations and bands linked to the "Orange Order" affiliated at present who are availing of the services of the Community Development Worker and the association. Other groups are encouraged to join.
