Carleton Street Community Development Association was formed in January 2004. The purpose of the association, as set out in its constitution, is to benefit the inhabitants of the Greater Portadown area whilst working in partnership with others. The association have established a community development initiative under the auspices of the Orange Order, to help promote capacity building within the Protestant community of Portadown as well as providing education and training on Ulster Scots music and culture.
